Hyderabad, July 1 (Namaste Telangana): On the call of the CPI and other left parties, a siege was taken up in the Collectorates across the state on Wednesday with the slogan of giving house and land to every family. CPI State Secretary, MLA Koonanneni Sambasiva Rao participated in the program held at Bhadradri Kothagudem Collector’s office and said that every poor person should be given a house and the struggle will not stop till then.
Police arrested activists in many districts. Pashya Padma, National Executive Committee Member, Hanumakonda Collectorate State Assistant Secretary T Srinivasa Rao, Peddapalli Collectorate State Secretary Kalavena Shankar, Khammam Collectorate State Secretary Bagha Hemantha Rao, Nalgonda Collectorate MLC Nellikanti Satyam participated in the program held at Kamareddy Collectorate. CPI, CPM, MCPI organized agitations across Warangal district on Wednesday, demanding that house land titles be given to the slum dwellers.
