Hyderabad, July 15 (Namaste Telangana): Kapu movement leader and former minister Mudragada Padmanabham’s funeral has concluded. Mudragada’s family members performed the last rites at his home premises in Kirlampudi, Kakinada district on Wednesday. Former Chief Minister of AP and YCP chief YS Jagan took part in Mudragada’s funeral and consoled his family members. Jagan, who carried the Mudragada pade, remained in Kirlampudi until the last rites were completed. Before his death, Mudragada wrote a letter to his family members. In that letter, he made it clear that he wanted to bury his body within the premises of the house and that he did not need government symbols and police salutations. He said that after his death, his wife should remain a saintly woman. Even though Mudragada made it clear that he did not want official insignia, the AP government arranged a guard of honor for him. The YCP leaders were angry with the government. Even though Mudragada said that no government symbols are there, he questioned why the police are coming with guns. He flagged that even after Mudragada’s death, CM Chandrababu continued to win the party.
