Hyderabad, September 21 (Namaste Telangana): The Congress Sarkar has not released the DA dues to the state government employees and DA dues, which is a security guard with the CPS, has become a palm. Although the DAs have been released late, the DA dues are left as grapes. Government employees in the state have to pay the DA once every 6 months. After the Congress government came to power, only two DAs were released. Five DAs are currently pending. However, when these DAs are old, they have to be released since then. These are DA dues. At the time of the release of the DAs, the government made it clear that 90 per cent of the two DLs were issued by installments. Six months of DA Ariyars in connection with the first DA. The total value was Rs 600 crore, while the second DA Ariyars deded for three months. They are Rs 300 crore. CPS employees have lost Rs 900 crore during this period, while Rs 100 crore has been paid under a month’s arrears. From July 2022 to October 2024, the DA dues are to be paid in equal installments since January 2025. Another DA dues to be paid from January 2023 to June 2025 are to be paid in equal installments to 28 equal installments.
‘Pay Areas in Dussehra’
The Telangana Contributory Pension Scheme Employees Union (TS CPSEU) has demanded that employees be paid to employees before the Dussehra festival. Recently, CS Ramakrishna Rao presented the memorandum of understanding of the community president, Kalwal Srikanth, Naresh Goud, Kotakonda Pawan and Narender Rao. They took to the CS’s attention that the DA had to be paid after two years and that the dues were paid in installments and that they were not even paying them.
This is the situation
- The first DA paid 17 installments of 17 installments from January, February and March 2025.
- Six installments to be paid a month from April to September 2025 have not yet been paid.
- The second DA will be paid in equal installments from July 2025. July is gone. August has passed. Now it has reached the end of September. Not a single postponement so far.
- The first DAV was six installments and the second DAV three installments was a total of 9 installments.
Curse for CPS employees
DA dues are deposited in the GPF account at the same time for employees of the old pension scheme (OPS) employees. While CPS employees have to pay for installments, now the installments are not paid. As a result, both the original, the interest is lost. Cash can be drawn from the account in GPF. But CPS employees do not have that situation. After retiring, the employee does not get pension immediately. There is no chance of buying a pension plan until the 10 percent of the recovery from the DA paid in the 18 installments. If the pension plan is purchased, the Pran account will be canceled. This means that the employee’s money is in the government account. This allows CPS employees to get a thousand and 2 thousand pension per month.
