Geesugonda, May 5: BRS Working President KTR stated that KCR sent them here to know the problems of farmers. On Tuesday, he visited the purchase center in Ookal, Geesugonda mandal of Warangal district and interacted with the farmers. On this occasion, many told their troubles to KTR, and he assured them that ‘don’t get discouraged… we are here’. On this occasion KTR’s conversation with many women farmers was like this.
KTR: What’s your name mom.. which city do you belong to?
Farmers : My name is Banoth Bhagyalakshmi, another farmer is Ajmira Bujji, Pochammathanda, Sangem.
KTR: How many days have you come to the center?
Farmers: Sir, it has been 20 days. We are going home to the center every day. Can’t put a fork.
Farmers: If 40 quintals of maize are grown per acre, the government buys only 20 quintals. Where did you buy the rest?
