The Center has recently made a key statement on nationwide caste. It is said that the census will be done in the next census. This has led to ‘Cast Census Politics’ in the state. Governor Jishnudev Verma has approved the bill passed by the Telangana Assembly with 42 per cent reservation for the BCs.
Telangana Congress BC leaders thanked the governor on Friday to the President. He said that the caste was a role model for the country of Telangana and that those who had previously criticized Kulaganana were now ideally taken as an ideal.
