Maktal, July 10: The incident of attack on a senior BRS worker by Congress leaders took place in Narayanapet district. According to the victim’s story, Bhadrappa, a BRS activist from Upperpally in Maktal mandal, left Maktal town for Sontur on a bike around 11 o’clock on Thursday night. More than 20 leaders and activists of the ruling party went astray and attacked Bhadrappa with deadly weapons. Locals found him seriously injured and rushed him to the hospital. Many people alleged that BRS leaders complained to the police against the perpetrators of the attack but no case was registered, raising many suspicions. Former MLA Chittem visited Bhadrappa in Mahabubnagar hospital.
The attackers should be arrested
Former MLA Rammohan Reddy expressed his anger that Congress goons are attacking BRS leaders. He protested along with the party leaders in front of Maktal Police Station on Friday demanding the immediate arrest of those responsible for the attack on Bhadrappa. He alleged that attacks have increased since Congress came. The Maktal police did not arrest the people who were responsible for the small fight that took place in the village less than two months ago. They alleged that the incident took place because they listened to the words of the minister and honked at them.
