Telangana Chief Minister Revant Reddy welcomed the latest decision on the caste. Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Gandhi recalled that the demand for caste across the country was clearly revealed in the “Bharat Jodo Yatra”. Telangana is the first state in the way of Rahul Gandhi. He recalled that the Assembly had made a reservation to provide 42 per cent reservation for BCs. Rahul is proud to be in the country with a change in the state. He thanked Prime Minister Modi and the Union Ministers for congratulating the central decision.
Telangana BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said that the decision of the Center to include caste calculation in the country’s census reflects the success of Telangana. He explained that the state government has implemented a law and implementing 42 per cent reservation for BCs. After the British period in 1931, it is the first time the decision to take place at the national -level caste, he said. Thanks to the CM, Deputy Chief Minister and Cabinet members who worked hard for the victory. As the minister of the weaker sections, the Center congratulated those who supported the decision.
