Hyderabad, May 28 (Namaste Telangana): The BRS party is agitating on behalf of the people on the establishment of Rythu Discom to be set up by the Congress government. All set to expose the conspiracies behind the new discom. Telangana has decided to leave the facts to the public. BRSLP Deputy Leader Harish Rao has already written an open letter to the Telangana Electricity Regulatory Commission Chairman. The letter mentions the dark side hidden behind the new discus. He appealed to reject the application of Rythu DISCOM. Now a delegation led by BRS Working President KTR, former Ministers of Power and Agriculture G Jagadish Reddy, Singireddy Niranjan Reddy and other senior leaders will attend the public opinion poll to be conducted by ERC at 10 am on Friday. The delegation will bring to the attention of the commission the government’s attitude and the losses to the state’s farmers and the power sector due to the formation of Rythu DISCOM.
Here are the losses
BRS is raising their own losses in the ERC referendum on the establishment of Rythu DISCOM. The representatives will explain the future difficulties faced by the farmers and common consumers and the dangers of the free electricity scheme for agriculture. On this occasion, they will question the intention of the government in setting up DISCOM based on non-income generating agricultural and household connections. Financial, technical and legal deficiencies will be pointed out. The Government’s plan to privatize the power sector in the name of Rythu Discom will be explained to the people of Telangana. KTR and other representatives will mention the problems faced in allotment of employees and financial issues.
