Manchiryala/ Chennur, July 25: BRS leaders have expressed concern over the comments made by Peddapally MP Vamsikrishna on the occasion of BRS Working President KTR’s birthday. A protest was held at Ambedkar’s statues in Chennur town of Manchiryala district headquarters on Saturday. Speaking on this occasion, they demanded immediate withdrawal of MP Vamsi Krishna’s comments that not even 50 people have been given jobs in the BRS government. During the last assembly elections, Vivek Venkataswamy was criticized for not being able to provide employment to the unemployed by setting up a factory in the constituency.
Instead of setting up a factory here, they were angry that they are setting up factories in Rae Bareli as a gift to Rahul Gandhi. Such people objected that KTR’s questioning is as if the Vedas have been inspired by demons. He reminded that KTR got the credit of increasing the number of 3.23 lakh IT jobs to 9.87 lakh during the BRS regime. When Balka Suman was an MLA, a factory was sanctioned to Mandamarri with Rs.450 crores.. He moved to the next constituency and demanded an answer as to what happened to the Chennur lift scheme which was sanctioned with Rs.1,600 crores to provide cultivation and drinking water in the constituency. He warned that if Vamsi Krishna’s comments on KTR are not retracted immediately, they will be blocked at every step in the constituency. BRS, youth wing leaders, activists and fans participated in large numbers and raised slogans against the MP’s remarks.
