The ‘Ayushmann Bharat’ scheme has become a source of income for the aggressors. Under this scheme, there are 9,85,166 registrations under this scheme, which means how many deficiencies will take place in the implementation of the scheme. To this end, the CAG submitted a report in Parliament in 2023. The CAG said that the list of unrealistic names, false birth dates, duplicate PMJDY IDs and family members were identified in the list of beneficiaries.
According to the CAG Report -2023, the scheme is like this.
- Ayushmann has identified the number of unrealistic names, false birth dates, duplicate IDs and family members in the list of beneficiaries.
- Registration was made with the names of different patients with a single Aadhaar number. There were 4,761 registrations with seven Aadhaar card numbers in Tamil Nadu.
- 7,49,820 lakh beneficiaries have been registered with a single phone number (9999999999).
- There have been fake registrations to treat 88,760 patients who have already died. Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala and Madhyapra have been seen in these types of cases.
- Infrastructure and doctors who do not have doctors are also deliberately included into the scheme. The scheme is not satisfying the guidance leg.
- After the patients were discharged from the Diwakhana, some of them have been found to have done surgery for them. There are up to 2,25,827 cases inadequate documents.
- The Beneficiary Identification System (BIS) did not recognize those mistakes, although the same patient had registered the name in different documents at the same time.
- Some documents have been charged with money from beneficiaries.
- Several Diwakhanas in Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Tamil Nadu have been named after Rs. 57.53 crore.
