Husnabad, June 23: Old dues during Revanth Reddy’s rule claimed the life of another former sarpanch. He committed suicide due to non-payment of bills for the development works done. During the Congress rule, the former who took loans and developed the village with the aim of developing the village are finally dying. If we go into the details… former sarpanch Pittala Sampat (50) of Mahmadapur, Husnabad mandal of Siddipet district served as village sarpanch for two terms. At that time he spent Rs. 11 lakhs for the development of the village and did development works. But the bills for this have not yet arrived. All these were taken in the form of loans and due to pressure from the lenders, Sampath committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree at the agricultural field on Tuesday morning.

However, Sarpanch Tirumala Tirupati Reddy, Sub-Sarpanch Sammaraju and Panchayat Secretary Hari Babu are not giving the bills due to him, he said in his suicide note. Sampath is survived by his wife Swapna, son Santosh and daughter Abhinaya. Sadness fell in the village after the death of Sampath. The suicide of Sampath, who worked as a sarpanch for ten years, shocked the villagers. Former sarpanchs and leaders of various parties have expressed grief over Sampath’s death. The Congress government has yet to respond and demanded that the dues due to the former sarpanches be released.

Villagers and family members expressed their anger over the suicide of Sampath, who served the village as Sarpanch for ten years, and organized a protest on the Karimnagar road in Husnabad. They demanded that the government should release the pending bills. Otherwise, he warned that the agitations will escalate.
