Kosgi, June 15 : Former MLA Patnam Narender Reddy of Kodangal has challenged Revanth Reddy, who is boasting that he will be the CM till 2034, to win the next election from Kodangal. He said that Revanth, who is sitting on the CM’s chair by deceiving people with fraudulent promises, is sure to taste defeat in the next election. On Monday, he visited the Kosgi Press Club of Narayanapet district and inquired about the problems of the media representatives. He criticized that the farmers and people here were deceived if they believed and voted innocently without knowing that Revanth Reddy’s promises were fraudulent. He asked whether Revanth had any understanding of why the Narayanapet-Kodangal lift scheme was started.
The Congress has declared a crop holiday and demanded to answer the people and farmers as to how the water will be given under the name of Narayanapet Kodangal. He said that 90 percent of the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project was completed during the BRS regime, and if the remaining 10 percent was completed, Kodangal farmers would get irrigation water. It is alleged that Palamuru was kept aside with the intention of announcing it to KCR.
Revanth, who is unable to provide farmer insurance to the farmers in his own constituency, demanded to be told how he will remain the CM till 2034. He criticized that new roads are being laid for commissions in Kodangal. Kosgi expressed anger that roads were destroyed in the town in the name of development. He was accompanied by Kosgi BRS in-charge Venkatnarsimhu and mandal leaders.
