Hyderabad, July 11 (Namaste Telangana): ‘Itatetu ra means.. all the houses are mine’ is the style of the Adyakala Museum organizers. Criticism is rife that there is a conspiracy to occupy the university building together with the museum managers for a grant of Rs.5 crores. Students of Telugu University allege that there are huge financial interests behind the Adyakala Museum. Adyakala Museum is already running in 5 rooms in the premises of Telugu University, Nampally, Hyderabad. In fact, if these five rooms are occupied by the museum, then efforts are being made to take over the entire premises. They say that the upper floor should be given to the university and the lower floor should be given to the museum.

The second floor is now in the process of collapse. Still this building is not used by the varsity. ‘What is broken for us… is it private? Students and teachers are angry saying this is the method. The students are criticizing that there is ‘hunting of sources of income’ in the name of tribals. They are asking the government to understand the Rs.5 crore and save the premises of the Telugu University in Nampally.

They are demanding a reconsideration of handing over the premises to private individuals. Protests by students to protect the Telugu University from private individuals reached the tenth day by Saturday. The varsity premises echoed with slogans of students saying ‘Save Campus’.
