Hyderabad, Aug 25 (Namaste Telangana): Telangana tribal community has demanded action against forest officials who are making illegal cases against tribal farmers. To this extent the state has resorted to the Human Hanga Commission. The commission complained on Monday with the affected tribal farmers. The tribal community association then spoke to the state, presidential and major secretaries of Dharmamanayak and Sriramnayak.
Mudawat Mangamma, Bojjamma, Huni Bai, Gopal, Bhoja, Lalu and Ramesh have been cultivating 12 acres of land in Surveynbar 34/8 in Kishtapur Tanda suburb of Vanaparthi district. 30 years ago on those lands, the then joint state government said that the revenue graduate had sanctioned the passage. Officials said they had been tortured and smuggled PD cases. The authorities have yet to take action.
