Karimnagar Ramnagar, June 10: Karimnagar ACB officials arrested Radhika, a senior assistant in Karimnagar district welfare office, who took bribes through benami accounts on commission basis to pay bills to contractors.
Radhika monitors the bills to be paid to the contractors who supply regular commodities and eggs to the beneficiaries. Radhika takes a commission for every bill through benami accounts. Many have complained to ACB that this is causing problems in the payment of bills. During the investigation, officials found that Rs.2.37 lakhs were transferred to various accounts. In this context, she was detained and produced in Karimnagar ACB court.
