Hanumakonda Chowrastha: Vice Chancellor Professor K. Pratap Reddy said that Kakatiya University (KU) has taken an important step towards internationalization of higher education. During his visit to Germany, he initiated the process of entering into MoUs with three prominent universities there.
To this end, on June 1, 2026, a ‘Letter of Intent’ was submitted to the Heads of the International Relations Department of the respective universities. On this occasion, Kai Hillebrecht, Director of Foreign Relations, and Tanja Falkowsky, Head of International Relations and Deputy Director, had a discussion. Higher Education Secretary Dr. Yogitarana and Roosa 2.0 State Project Officer Dr. Soundarya Joseph participated in these meetings.
Through the proposed MoUs, students of Kakatiya University will get many international opportunities such as higher education abroad, joint research opportunities, student-faculty exchange programs, opportunities to participate in summer and winter schools, and academic collaboration of faculty.
