Rat in Curd Packet | A dead mouse in a yogurt packet created a stir. A customer was shocked to find a baby rat in a packet of curd bought at a grocery store near SRR Thota in Greater Warangal.
Going into the details.. A man bought a packet of Sangam curd in a grocery shop near Warangal SRR garden and took it home. When he was about to cut the packet and put the yogurt, he saw a baby mouse in it. The person who saw it was shocked. Later, the owner of the grocery shop recovered.
Later, the person complained to the concerned authorities. The officials who immediately entered the field inspected the shop where the yogurt packet was sold. Immediately, the sale of yogurt packet related to that batch was stopped. 50 packets were seized in Janagama, and yogurt packets belonging to that batch were seized in Karimabad, Lakshmipuram market area and Hanumakonda Bhavaninagar shops. Officials have issued orders to shopkeepers not to sell Sangam curd till further orders.
Meanwhile, the sale of yogurt related to that batch was stopped and the samples were sent to the Hyderabad lab for testing. Officials clarified that action will be taken based on the lab report.
