Mortad, June 6: Former minister and Balkonda MLA Vemula Prashanth Reddy has expressed concern that Telangana’s existence is once again in jeopardy in the hands of Andhra rulers under the rule of Revanth Sarkar. He accused Chandrababu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi of trying to take Telangana back under their control by putting CM Revanth Reddy forward. He said that KCR is the only leader who can protect the existence of Telangana and the interests of the state in such a situation. Vemula spoke at a large-scale meeting of BRS membership registration, awareness on ‘Sir’ and activists held at Lalita Gardens in Mortad suburb of Nizamabad district on Saturday.
They demanded immediate cancellation of Urea app system and 24 hours free electricity for agriculture. During KCR’s regime, the farmers used to get urea in their fields with just a phone call, and now the urea app brought by the Congress government has become a curse for the farmers. They expressed anger that the BJP at the center and the Congress governments in the state are trying to divide the electricity department and harm the free electricity supply to the farmers.
He warned that there is a conspiracy to hand over the profitable sectors to the private sector and keep only the agricultural sector under the government, due to which the farmers will not get free electricity in future. He said that the Congress government has completely failed in the collection of grain and maize and it is not right to use the policies of the central government as an excuse. He expressed his anger that the price of DAP bag of Rs.1200 has been increased to Rs.2150 and Jeeluga bag of Rs.1400 has been increased to Rs.2400 and additional burden has been imposed.
KCR created wealth
Vemula explained that the debt incurred during KCR’s nine-and-a-half-year rule was only Rs.4 lakh crore. With that loan, Kaleshwaram project, check dams, Rs.75 thousand crores Rythubandhu, drinking water to every house through Mission Bhagiratha, 24 hours free electricity and many other things have been implemented and wealth has been created, he said. The Congress government, which is criticizing KCR for incurring debts, demanded that the debt incurred in two and a half years after coming to power is Rs. 4 lakh crores and what has been achieved with this debt. He expressed anger that the Congress, which had made many promises during the election, has not fully fulfilled even a single promise after coming to power.
He called that the time has come for every activist to become a soldier in the spirit of KCR in order to protect the existence of Telangana in the face of situations that are threatening the existence of Telangana due to the behavior of the leaders of this government. He asked to strengthen the BRS party for the benefit of the state. Membership Registration District Incharge Vizigaw, former MLAs Bajireddy Govardhan, Jeevan Reddy, Hanmantshinde, Jajala Surender, Balkonda Constituency Membership Registration Incharge Dava Vasantha, activist Rajaramanyadav and others participated in this program.
