Warangal, April 24 (Namaste Telangana Spokesperson): The case of BJP Union Minister of State Bandi Sanjay has become controversial in Muttojipet, the hometown of Narsampeta RTC driver Shankar Goud, who committed suicide after being offended by the government’s intransigence. The RTC workers and relatives of the deceased are alleging that he acted like an ordinary worker who should have behaved soberly in his position as a minister. Political critics are analyzing that this development has exposed the milakhat of BJP and Congress in the state. The police who detained and arrested the leaders of the BRS party to go to Muttojipet.. The fact that the BJP leaders were allowed to go to Muttojipet also proves the alliance between the BJP and the Congress. The body of Shankar Goud, who died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Hyderabad, was shifted to Muttojipet on Friday. There are suspicions that a clear worksheet was received from the government officials on what to do before the dead body was moved from Hyderabad and the consequences took place accordingly. The dead body was shifted to the deceased’s daughter’s house in Muttojipet village of Narsampet mandal (two kilometers away from Narsampet town).

Detention of BRS leaders and activists
Before Shankar Goud’s body reached Muttojipet, the police arrested BRS party workers in Narsampet constituency. Former BRS MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy came and paid his respects to the dead body peacefully. He appealed to the police to provide an opportunity to move the dead body to the Narsampeta bus depot as requested by the workers and to ensure that no politics is allowed in this. He also assured that none of his party workers would go to the vicinity of the depot. The police said Sasemira.

Do you forgive the wishes of family members and RTC workers? The situation heated up when he said that. As a result, the police arrested Peddi Sudarshan Reddy and took him to various police stations in Chennaraopet, Nekkonda, Narsimhulapeta, Dalalapalli, Mahabubabad, Bhadradri-Kottagudem districts. Narsampeta ACP Ravinder Reddy himself picked them up in his vehicle and drove them to the respective stations. Many BRS leaders were also present with him. Former minister Satyavati Rathore and senior party leader Enugula Rakesh Reddy and many others came to pay their respects and express solidarity with the workers and were arrested and taken away from the place. Former Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao and former MLA Aruri Ramesh were placed under house arrest from Hanumakonda before they left for Narsampet.

Blockade on Hyderabad highway
Former Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy, former MPs Boinapally Vinodkumar and Maloth Kavitha who left for Narsampet from Hyderabad were arrested by the police at Komalla tollgate of Raghunathpalli mandal and former minister V Srinivas Gowd at Chinnapendya of Chilpur mandal. In Bhuvangiri, many people were arrested, including the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Sirikonda Madhusudanachari. The main leaders of the BRS party were arrested everywhere in the joint Warangal district.

Arbitrary permission for BJP leaders
The police arbitrarily allowed the BJP Warangal and Hanumakonda district presidents and former MLA Martineni Dharmarao to go to Muttojipet. They left without any restrictions anywhere and without the slightest inquiry as to where they were going. With this, hundreds of people joined the ranks of BJP before Union Minister Bandi Sanjay reached Muttojipet. Ex-ministers and former MLAs have been arrested everywhere by the police, leaving the BJP leaders behind has drawn criticism. It is believed that the tension in Narsampeta is a part of the plan of BJP and Congress parties to join hands and sidetrack the issue of RTC workers’ strike by saying ‘I will do as I scold you.. Do as you cry’.

Bandi stops with Sanjay’s attitude
The RTC workers and the family members of the deceased are fed up with Union Minister Bandi Sanjay’s neglect of his responsibility. Criticisms were heard that Bandi Sanjay did not come for consultation but only for politics. Criticisms were heard that he acted like an ordinary activist by demanding the government for justice to the family of the deceased, asking the police to bring the dead body to the depot as requested by the workers and family members, or by talking to the higher authorities in Hyderabad. In order to stand on the side of the victims, they had to behave soberly and provoked the activists. The activists were agitated by this. First, while going out to pay respects to the dead body of Bandi Sanjay, they pulled the freezer in which the dead body was placed, asking why they were not allowed to take it to the depot. That’s when the activists got angry. The dead body was dragged on the pavement in the most inhumane manner, as if an object was grabbed from the road and thrown across, the ball was thrown from one hand to another. The deceased’s family members, relatives, RTC workers and townspeople were worried about what was happening. The BJP ranks were among those who were carrying the dead body in front and the police were behind them.. They removed the barricades on the road for a distance of about 200 meters and locked the police as usual. Alert police surrounded and stopped.

‘Give us my father’s dead body’
After locking the dead body, the Warangal CP held discussions with Sanjay in the red sun for about an hour and a half. The agitation of Bandi Sanjay and the activists who looked at his strength drew a lot of criticism until the family members of the deceased, who were worried about the way the situation would lead, asked, ‘Please give my father’s body… we will donate it’. With the reaction of the family members, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay spoke to the media and said that justice should be done to the family and left the place. Allegations are pouring in that the entire Bandi episode happened according to the pre-planned script and the Congress government has given full support to that script.
