HYDERABAD: The 25th anniversary of the Basava Tharakam Cancer Hospital was held at the end of the 25 years after the hospital was established. Telangana Health Minister Damodara Rajanarsimha, State Governor Jishnudev Verma (Jishnudev Verma) and Hospital Chairman Nandamuri Balakrishna were also present at the event.
Minister Damodara Rajanarasimha spoke on the occasion. He greeted the hospital doctors, staff and management during the Silver Jubilee. The hospital, which was set up 25 years ago in the name of NTR Satimani Basavatarakam, who died of cancer, has been recalled that so far millions of patients have been provided with medical services.
The Minister praised the NTR iconic leader and the legendary act. Minister Damodara said that his contribution to cinema and social services was an inspiration to today’s generation. He commented that this is the hospital today. The hospital appreciates that millions of poor patients have hope and believe in life. The problem of cancer is growing nationwide and 50 to 55 thousand new cancer in Telangana every year.
Mobile cancer screening units will be launched in all districts of the state, the minister said. We have decided to set up cancer care centers in each district. They will be made available to the public soon and will be provided in these centers, such as cancer screening, diagnostic, day care chemotherapy and palliative care.
