Jayashankar Bhupapalli district's Kataram mandal, Dhanwada-Gummallapally road on 23rd of this month, the police solved the case of attempted murder against Chiguru Ganesh, administrator of a private college. According to Kataram CI Nagarjuna Rao, Sandhya, daughter of Chinta Rajeshwari of Garepalli village, got married to Chiguru Ganesh of Odipilavancha in 2017. Ganesh killed his wife Sandhya on July 31, 2023 in the wake of additional dowry disputes.
Ganesh went to jail in this case and was recently released on bail. Rajeshwari decided to take revenge on her son-in-law. Dharamsot, who lives in Karimnagar, contacted Ravinder Naik and entered into an agreement for Rs.10 lakh, and gave a photo of Ganesh along with Rs.1 lakh as an advance. Later, Ravinder Naik along with three others organized Rekki at Odipilavancha on Friday. The next day, believing that the car had broken down, he asked Ganesh for help, but Nagarjuna attacked him with a knife while he was pushing the car.
After Ganesh shouted, the accused fled from the place after seeing the farmers coming. CI Nagarjuna Rao, SSI Srinivas, SSI-2 Mahesh and Naresh, who received the information while the accused were discussing at Rajeshwari's house on 26th of this month, attacked and arrested five people. They said that the main accused Rajeshwari along with Dharamsoth Ravinder Naik, Damodar, Nagarjun and Prashant were produced in the court and remanded as the accused admitted that they had tried to kill by taking supari. DSP Surya Narayana congratulated the police personnel who solved the case.
