- Waiting for MVI and AMVI for promotions
Hyderabad, August 16 (Namaste Telangana): The bias of the authorities on the grassroots employees in the Transport Department is ongoing. Motor Vehicle Inspectors (MVI) and Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors (AMIVI) have been waiting for promotions for three years. The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) is not meeting today. MVI and AMVI are deeply unhappy with the promotions in the Transport Department. The government has promoted to RTAs, DTCs to DTCs as JTCs.
Many of the bosses of the Transport Department have been promoted to the authorities. Up to 20 RTA posts are said to be empty as MVIs are not promoted. The Departmental Promotion Committee is scheduled to meet in August every year. Even this year, they are in the process of getting promotions. If promoted .. If there is no financial burden on the transport ministry, it is worse.
